Gorge FC v Peninsula




After a hard fought battle against Cowichan, Gorge FC play away again Saturday versus the Peninsula Storm. Peninsula is a team that has struggled for results in the first round. After winning their first game 2-1 against Prospect Lake, they dropped their next four, albeit three losses were by a single goal. So, aside from one 4-0 thumping, they have been in every game.

The game against Cowichan showed that Gorge FC needs to pick up aspects of their game and play for a full 80 minutes. Peninsula has been known to surprise us if we are not mentally prepared. Good news is Tom should be back in the lineup (unless a Rugby game gets in the way) and at this point we have no injuries to report. Gorge FC remain atop the table at 4-1-0 and will be looking to take out the frustration of earning only a single point last game by taking all three this week.
